A Change in the Weather

Last night when I went to bed it was 48°F out. This morning I woke to 8°F with a stiff wind (wind chill -12°F). During the transition that dropped the temperature by 40° in 7 1/2 hours we had sleet and freezing rain. When I left for work, I had to chisel my car out of a fairly thick layer of ice (all at 8 degrees). I leave for Key West in six weeks and five days.

Brrr... that sounds way too cold to be outside with a chisel. Stay warm and safe.

FC- Right now, you're at the right latitude and I'm not.

cedrorum- I can't even respond to that right now.

Lem- It isn't pretty.

CG- Of course. But I don't expect to escape winter there.

Spo- Can't wait to see you.

Dave- I know. Winter doesn't even start for another five days. And it's gotten even worse since I wrote that.

I can tell you can't wait! Any chance you can convince Leon to make a move to AZ? Real Estate is very cheap right now! You can get an acre of land in Rio Rico for about $11,000 or a little more or less!
