The moon peeking over the mountain is awesome. Somehow, the word Alpenglow always makes me smile ;)

More great pictures of the desert. You guys have any snow up in Chicago yet? It's much colder than normal here.

Have just enjoyed reading through all of the desert posts. On the way to the place where I'm spending this winter, I drove through the Mojave and into the Sonoran desert. The desert skies, vistas, geology, flora and fauna never fail to blow me away.

Thanks to all for the visit and the kind words about the photos.

cedrorum- We've had a tiny bit of snow here. It's been colder than normal. Measurable snowfall is possible tomorrow.

Bev- It's so good to have you stop by again. I've enjoyed the tales of your travels, and I'm very envious that you will be spending the whole winter in the southwest. Safe travels.
