Forgotten Photo Friday - Marine Blue

Marine Blue (Leptotes marina)

Fellow blogger Steve does an occasional feature called Forgotten Photo Friday. This week, I was arranging my collection of digital butterfly images and found this one, so I thought I'd indulge in the practice. It was taken last summer on a hike that I took with my friend Andy up Madera Canyon in Arizona. I have a couple more posts of memories from last summer that I hope to get up in the next week or so. One week from today Leon and I are off to southern California with a friend to meet up with UrSpo and Someone. I'm hoping for lots of nice photos from the desert.

Some time back, you had a post about dragonfly migration in Mexico. We were in Belize the last 2 weeks of October, and saw tens of thousands of dragonflies of at least 4 different species (don't know dragon IDs at all). It was amazing, at times I felt that I would surely suffocate because it seemed there was no air, only dragons. Here is a link to some photos: http://southenglishtown.blogspot.com/2010/10/dragonflies.html

Hi Wilma, welcome to the Tapestry. Those were some very nice shots. I'll try to contact you via email for some more info. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Roy- Thanks. For some reason I completely overlooked this photo when I was processing pictures from that trip.

Spo- I'm not sure that a dead cow will fit in my luggage.

Thanks for your kind comment. But next time instead of just waving down from a plane, how about a nice hug in person? LOL Have a great time in PS. I think you'll manage just fine without having to wear a dead cow. ;)
